And so we write a new chapter. In May this year, Barnabé Moinard took over the reins from Bruno Tartarin, as publisher of The Classic. Barnabé Moinard is a well-known Paris-based dealer in vintage photography and the promoter of the 24.39 Classic Photography Fair. He will also exhibit at Paris Photo this year, sharing a stand with Serge Plantureux.
I will remain as editor-in-chief, Laura Leonelli as contributing editor, and Jasmine Durand and Mike Derez will continue as the magazine’s outstanding design team.
I am now asking you for your support. While The Classic is a free magazine, it’s not free to produce and ship. We do raise revenue from advertising, but costs for paper, printing and shipping have gone up. The best way to support the magazine and to secure its future is to subscribe.
